Quest for a chest physician- Acute Bronchitis

hi, i was diagnosed with AB last couple of weeks by a doc at PUSRAWI Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. I had persistent fever for more than 2 weeks. Coughing badly especially during nite time and resulting sleepless nite for me.After each cough, i will suffer with breathing difficulties. similar to asthma I consumed various medicines n cough syrup.

The first doc that treated me when i went seeking her consultation gave me antibiotics named Curam. According to the doc, this anti-bio can kill range of viruses that fall in the category and the 2nd doc gave me another anti-bio which i could not remember the name of it. The 3rd doc i met gave me 2 injections to cure fever, and thank God, the fever subsided. But, my prolonged coughing worries my wife and she took me to hospital. We went to Prince Court hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately, the nurse informed us that their chest physician was on leave till next thursday (i came to the hospital on saturday, aug 1st, 09). I love Prince Court Ampang staff for their lovely and hospitable service offered.Frustration surrounded me n my wife. We called ampang putri and gleneagles, but we received unpleasant respond. The docs were too busy and the worst thing was the nurse who attended my call was totally unprofessional. Never taught such a ‘high class’ medical centre like Gleaneagles has a terrible nurse.

So, we end up our quest for a chest physician at PUSRAWI. The doc, sent me for chest n nose x ray and the result showed that me was free form any mucus formation at those area. She gave me anti-ashtma, rhinatol and 2 other medicines that i forgot the name plus a turbuhaler. Now, i am still recovering and still having coughing problem but not as bad as before. i heard, beside taking prescription drug, we can try traditional remedies like eating green apple n orange juice. like 6 apples per day plus one glass of orange juice. I tried and it worked. My lovely wife, IZZA (thank you sayang)bought me honey and i do consume it twice per day. Worth trying i say….
